Gold Price Volatility Continues in Delhi Market
The gold market in Delhi has seen significant fluctuations over the past few months. In January 2026, the price of 24k gold opened at ₹1,35,160 per 10 grams and rose to a high of ₹1,79,140 by the end of the month.
However, this rising trend did not continue into February 2026, as prices dipped slightly to ₹1,53,310. By March 31, 2026, gold prices had plummeted to ₹1,48,420 per 10 grams, marking a significant decline from the previous month.
April and May saw a slight rebound in gold prices, with April opening at ₹1,49,670 and closing at ₹1,50,580. In May, the price of 24k gold rose to a high of ₹1,62,270 before settling at ₹1,57,190 by month's end.
June saw another decline in gold prices, with the rate falling to ₹1,41,470 on June 26th. By the end of the month, prices had settled at ₹1,42,070 per 10 grams.
