Gold Prices Climb 0.12% on MCX Amid Firm Spot Demand
Gold prices rose by Rs 190 to Rs 1.52 lakh per 10 grams in futures trade on MCX, driven by fresh positions built by speculators amid firm spot demand.
The contract for October delivery increased by Rs 190, or 0.12%, to Rs 1,52,769 per 10 grams, with a business turnover of 635 lots.
Market analysts attributed the rise in gold futures to fresh positions built by participants.
Silver prices also advanced in futures trade on Wednesday, tracking a firm global trend.
The contract for December delivery rose Rs 989, or 0.41%, to Rs 2,40,416 per kilogram, with a business turnover of 1,192 lots.
