Gold Prices Climb for Fourth Straight Day on August 8
The price of gold rose again on August 8 in both domestic and global markets. The SJC gold price stood at 141 million VND per tael for buying and 144 million VND per tael for selling. This represents a 1.8 million VND increase from the previous trading session on both the buying and selling sides.
The recent trend of increasing gold prices continues, with SJC gold bars and rings experiencing price fluctuations in previous days. On August 7, global gold prices surged, narrowing the gap with domestic prices. Similarly, on August 6, gold prices rose globally, while on August 5, both domestic and global gold prices increased.
The current market trend suggests that investors are seeking safe-haven assets due to economic uncertainties. Gold's value as a store of wealth and hedge against inflation continues to attract buyers in the face of market volatility.
