Gold Prices Consolidate Above Support Levels Amid Rising Channel
Gold prices have been consolidating above $4,296 and $4,224 support levels as the commodity's rally from the $4,430 area continues. Despite some profit-taking pressure, the price remains in a bullish structure, with the Relative Strength Index (RSI) easing from an overbought condition.
The rising channel's top has capped the latest up move at $4,430, and support is found in the areas of $4,360, $4,299, and $4,224. On the flip side, resistance levels are at $4,368, $4,430, and $4,492.
For the channel to remain intact and for the $4,360 support to hold, a move to $4,430 is possible. However, a break of this support level could open up further correction to the $4,299 area.
