Gold Prices Decline ₹431 to ₹1.55 Lakh Amid Investor Cautiousness
Gold prices declined by ₹431 to ₹1.55 lakh per 10 grams in futures trade on Monday, snapping its two-day rally.
The yellow metal futures for October delivery on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) fell by 0.28% to ₹1,55,344 per 10 grams.
Investors remained cautious ahead of the US Nonfarm Payrolls report, which could provide fresh cues on the Federal Reserve's interest-rate outlook.
Gaurav Garg, Head of Research at brokerage platform Lemonn, said market participants are awaiting the US nonfarm payrolls report to determine the next move in the dollar, treasury yields, and precious metals.
