Gold Prices Decline Across India's Major Cities on September 2

Gold prices declined across most cities in India on September 2, according to BusinessLine. The decrease was observed in major cities such as Coimbatore, Nagpur, Visakhapatnam, Surat, Jaipur, Lucknow, Chandigarh, and others.

The gold price for 22-carat gold decreased by ₹214 to ₹14,251 per gram, while the price for 8 grams of 22-carat gold declined by ₹1,712 to ₹1,14,008. Similar decreases were observed in other cities, with Coimbatore experiencing a decline of ₹435 for 22-carat gold and ₹3,480 for 8 grams.

The prices for 24-carat gold also showed a decrease, with the price per gram dropping by ₹456 to ₹14,648. The price for 8 grams of 24-carat gold declined by ₹3,648 to ₹1,17,184 in Coimbatore and other cities.
