Gold Prices Decline in Baghdad and Erbil Markets
On Tuesday, gold prices in Baghdad and Erbil markets saw a slight decline. According to a Shafaq News market survey, gold was trading around 940,000 IQD per mithqal (equivalent to five grams) on Al-Nahr Street in Baghdad.
The selling price for 21-carat gold in Baghdad was recorded at 945,000 IQD, with a buying price of 941,000 IQD. The same gold had sold for 953,000 IQD the previous day.
In Erbil, 22-carat gold was sold at 986,000 IQD per mithqal, while 21-carat gold traded at 942,000 IQD and 18-carat gold at 807,000 IQD.
