Gold Prices Dip Marginally Across Major Jewellery Brands

Gold prices saw a marginal decline on Friday, August 7, 2026, as major jewellery brands increased their 22-karat gold rates. According to data from Tanishq, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas, and Kalyan Jewellers, the price of 22k gold jewellery stood at Rs 13,770 per gram across various cities in India.

Tanishq's 22k gold rate remained unchanged from Thursday's price, while other brands saw a slight decrease. Malabar Gold & Diamonds' 22k gold rate dropped to Rs 13,740 per gram, and Joyalukkas' rate also decreased to the same amount. Kalyan Jewellers' 22k gold rate was also at Rs 13,740 per gram.

The Indian Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA) released its indicative retail selling rates for August 6, 2026. Fine Gold (999) stood at Rs 14,844 per gram, while 22 KT Gold was priced at Rs 14,488 per gram. The rate of Silver (999) was Rs 2,25,674 per kg.
