Gold prices dropped slightly across top brands on Tuesday, August 4, 2026. The current price for 22k gold jewellery at leading retailers such as Tanishq, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Kalyan Jewellers, and Joyalukkas is Rs 13,200 per gram across various cities in India.

According to IBJA's indicative retail selling rates, the prices of gold and silver have increased since yesterday. The price of fine gold (999) has risen by Rs 382 to Rs 14,294 per gram, while 22k gold is now priced at Rs 13,951 per gram, up from Rs 13,914 per gram.

Prithviraj Kothari, managing director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd. and president of IBJA, notes that gold and silver have edged higher due to mixed signals on U.S.-Iran talks and the anticipation of this week's labor data for Fed rate-path clues.
