Gold Prices Drop Across India as Silver Sees Slight Increase
Gold prices across India have seen a decline on September 6 compared to the previous day. The price of 24-carat gold is now ₹15,480 per gram, while 22-carat gold stands at ₹14,190 per gram. For 18-carat gold, customers will need to pay ₹11,610 per gram.
The prices for different carats are also reflected in the rates for 10 grams of gold. Today, 24-carat gold costs ₹154,800 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold is priced at ₹141,900 and 18-carat gold at ₹116,100.
Compared to September 5, there has been a decline of ₹1,870 in the price of 24-carat gold and a decline of ₹1,710 in the price of 22-carat gold. Silver prices have seen a slight increase, rising to ₹250 per gram from ₹249.90 per gram on the previous day.
While national rates are relatively consistent, there are some variations across cities. In Mumbai, the prices for 24-carat and 18-carat gold are in line with national averages, but in Chennai, 22-carat gold is priced at ₹143,610 and 24-carat gold at ₹156,670.
