Gold Prices Expected to Soar to Rp2.7 Million Next Week
PT Traze Andalan Futures Director Ibrahim Assuaibi predicts gold prices will reach Rp2.6-2.7 million per gram next Monday, September 12, 2026.
The current price of gold is at Rp2,634,000 per gram, and if it corrects, the price could drop to Rp2.5-Rp 2.6 million per gram.
Ibrahim also predicts that the world gold price will be between US$4,276-US$4,393 per troy ounce if it corrects, or rise to US$4,518-US$4,668 per troy ounce if it rises.
The dollar index is expected to reach 100 next week, with a predicted range of 98.30-100.20.
Ibrahim cites geopolitical factors, including the conflict between the United States and Iran, as well as U.S. President Donald Trump's intervention in the Federal Reserve to lower interest rates, as key drivers of gold prices and the dollar index.
