Gold Prices Eye $4772.17 to $4968.06 Ahead of PCE and Warsh
Gold prices are currently trading at $4,641.19, up 0.83% from the previous day.
The upcoming PCE report on Wednesday is expected to give insight into inflation and interest rate expectations, which could impact gold prices.
Economists predict that core PCE will rise 0.2%, keeping the annual rate near 3.3%, while headline PCE is expected to increase by 0.1%, putting the yearly rate near 3.6%.
Fed Chair Kevin Warsh's address at the Jackson Hole Economic Policy Symposium on Friday may also influence gold prices, as he has avoided giving clear signals about interest rates in the past.
