Gold Prices Hold Steady Ahead of Fed Decision Amid Geopolitical Tensions
Gold prices have held steady on Tuesday after falling to a one-month low in the previous session. The metal's value remained largely unchanged, trading at $4,302.13 per ounce at 0510 GMT.
This came as investors await the U.S. Federal Reserve's policy decision, set to be announced on Wednesday after a two-day meeting. Markets widely expect a 25-basis-point increase in the benchmark interest rate to a range of 3.75% to 4.00%.
Rising geopolitical tensions, including recent Houthi strikes on Saudi targets, have added to uncertainty in global markets.
