Gold Prices Hold Steady as US Dollar Weakness and Fed Expectations Dominate Market
Gold and silver prices held steady in India on Thursday as investors assessed global market conditions. The US dollar's weakness, Treasury yields, and expectations around the Federal Reserve's monetary policy all influenced bullion prices.
In the domestic market, gold was priced at ₹153,690 per 10 grams for 24-karat gold and ₹140,883 per 10 grams for 22-karat gold. Silver stood at ₹237,240 per kg.
The prices varied slightly across different cities in India, but overall, bullion prices remained firm on Thursday.
