Gold prices held steady near two-month highs on Thursday, August 13, 2026, as traders digested cooling U.S. inflation data. According to Prithviraj Kothari, managing director at RiddiSiddhi Bullions Ltd., and president of the India Bullion and Jewellers Association (IBJA), gold's break above $4,200 opens room toward $4,500.

The IBJA's morning session indicative retail rates for 24k, 22k, 20k, 18k, and 14k gold and 999-purity silver were yet to be updated on Thursday. However, the current price of 22k gold jewellery at various brands across major cities in India remained consistent with the previous day's prices.

Tanishq's price for 22k gold jewellery was Rs 14,240 per gram across New Delhi showrooms, while Malabar Gold & Diamonds and Joyalukkas priced it at Rs 14,195 and Rs 14,220 per gram respectively. Kalyan Jewellers had yet to update today's rate for the city.
