Gold Prices in Bangladesh Decrease by Taka Thousands
On July 30, 2026, gold prices in Bangladesh were announced to have decreased. According to the Bangladesh Jewelers Association (BAJUS), the new prices took effect on Tuesday, July 28, 2026. The highest quality 22-carat gold (11.664 grams) per bhori has been reduced by 2,216 taka, from the previous price of 2,23,074 taka to the new price of 2,20,858 taka.
Similarly, the price of 21-carat gold per bhori was reduced by 2,100 taka, from the previous price of 2,13,043 taka to the new price of 2,10,943 taka. The price of 18-carat gold per bhori decreased by 1,750 taka, and traditional (Sonaton) gold per bhori was reduced by 1,458 taka.
The current prices for gold in Bangladesh are as follows: 22 Carat (11.664 grams) Gold Price: BDT 2,20,858; 21 Carat (11.664 grams) Gold Price: BDT 2,10,943; and 18 Carat (11.664 grams) Gold Price: BDT 1,81,200.
