Gold prices in Chandigarh continued their upward trend on August 13, 2026, with a gain of ₹27 per gram for 24-karat gold and ₹25 per gram for 22-karat gold compared to the previous session.

The current prices stand at ₹15,528 per gram for 24-karat gold and ₹14,235 per gram for 22-karat gold. In comparison, 18-karat gold rose by ₹21 per gram to ₹11,650 per gram.

For the month of August so far, 24-karat gold has climbed from ₹14,415 per gram on August 4 to its current price of ₹15,528 per gram, while 22-karat gold has risen from ₹13,215 to ₹14,235 per gram over the same period.

The global market also played a role in the increase, as softer US inflation data reduced expectations of an interest-rate hike by the Federal Reserve at its September meeting. This development supported global gold prices and contributed to the rise seen in Chandigarh.
