Gold Prices in India Fall by 4.5% Over Past Week

Gold prices in India fell by around 4.5% over the past week, but remain significantly higher year-over-year at 43.3%. Silver also saw a weekly decline of 2.3%, although it has risen by 89% annually.

The national price of 24K gold stood at Rs 1,52,160 per 10 grams, while 22K gold was priced at Rs 1,36,480 per 10 grams according to Bullion.co.in data.

City-wise rates varied, with Chennai recording the highest 24K gold price at Rs 1,52,320 per 10 grams. For 22K gold, Chennai also topped the list at Rs 1,39,627 per 10 grams.
