Gold Prices in India Remain Steady on August 13 Amid Global Bullion Market Momentum
Gold prices in India remained steady on August 13, supported by positive momentum across global bullion markets.
The retail prices for gold were elevated, with 24-carat gold trading at INR 1,55,130 per 10 grams and 22-carat standard gold at INR 1,42,200 per 10 grams.
Analysts attribute the steady pricing to softer-than-expected consumer inflation indicators out of the United States, which have eased aggressive interest rate hike concerns and strengthened safe-haven appeal.
The retail jewellers such as Tanishq, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Kalyan Jewellers, and Joyalukkas report minor operational variations consistent with their corporate pricing strategies and localised making charges.
