Gold Prices in India See Slight Increase on August 18

Gold prices have experienced a marginal increase across various cities in India on August 18, 2026. According to Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas, and Kalyan Jewellers, the 22k gold price has risen slightly compared to yesterday's rates.

The current 22k gold rate is Rs 14,290 per gram across New Delhi showrooms for Tanishq, Malabar Gold & Diamonds, Joyalukkas, and Kalyan Jewellers. This price remains the same as on Monday for these brands in various cities including Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Trivandrum.

The India Bullion and Jewellers Association Ltd (IBJA) has released indicative retail selling rates for gold and silver jewellery on August 18, 2026. According to IBJA's data, the prices of 24k, 22k, 20k, 18k, and 14k gold, as well as 999-purity silver, have all decreased by Rs 1 per gram or kilogram compared to yesterday's rates.
