Gold Prices in India See Slight Uptick Amid Global Demand
The price of gold in India has seen a slight increase due to global demand and inflationary pressures. The current rate for 24K gold, also known as 999 pure gold, is Rs 16,374 per gram, while 22K gold, containing 91.67% pure gold, is priced at Rs 15,009 per gram.
The rates of gold in India are influenced by several factors including international bullion prices and the US dollar exchange rate. Additionally, increased consumer demand during the festive season may further impact prices, making it essential for buyers to monitor daily changes.
Silver also saw a price hike, with pure silver priced at approximately Rs 2,59,900 per kilogram. Although silver is more affordable than gold, its popularity remains strong among investors and jewellery buyers, particularly in regions where silver ornaments are traditionally popular.
