Gold Prices Inch Up Marginally Across Major Purity Levels
Gold prices inched up marginally across all major purity levels on August 22 compared to the previous day. The 24K gold price rose by ₹1 per gram to ₹16,049, while 22K and 18K gold also gained ₹1 each to ₹14,711 and ₹12,037 per gram, respectively.
The increase in gold prices comes after they remained firm amid broader strength in the bullion market. According to current rates, 24K gold is priced at ₹16,049 per gram, 22K gold at ₹14,711 per gram, and 18K gold at ₹12,037 per gram.
The latest price movement can be seen across major Indian cities such as Chennai, Mumbai, Delhi, Kolkata, Bangalore, Hyderabad, Thiruvananthapuram, and Kerala. The city-wise silver rate also saw an increase, with prices ranging from ₹2,601 to ₹2,651 per 10 grams.
