Gold Prices Plummet Across Indian Bullion Markets
Gold prices fell across bullion markets in India on Wednesday, while silver remained unchanged. The decline was seen in most major cities except Chennai, where gold prices dropped by ₹520 to ₹570 per 10 grams.
In the country's financial capital, Mumbai, 24-carat gold traded at ₹1,43,990 per 10 grams and 22-carat gold at ₹1,31,990 per 10 grams. Similar trends were observed in Delhi, where prices ranged between ₹1,44,140 for 24-carat gold and ₹1,32,140 for 22-carat gold.
The decline in gold prices was also seen in other major cities such as Ahmedabad, Bhopal, Jaipur, Patna, Lucknow, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, and Bhubaneswar. In these cities, the price of 24-carat gold ranged between ₹1,43,990 and ₹1,44,140 per 10 grams.
