Gold Prices Plummet Across Indian Metro Cities on August 29
Gold prices in India declined across most metro cities on August 29, 2026. The price of 22-carat gold decreased by ₹145 for one gram and ₹1,160 for eight grams compared to yesterday. In Delhi, the price of 22-carat gold was ₹14,605 for one gram (down by ₹145) and ₹1,16,840 for eight grams (down by ₹1,160). The price of 24-carat gold in Delhi was ₹15,335 for one gram (down by ₹153) and ₹1,22,680 for eight grams (down by ₹1,224).
The prices were similar in other cities such as Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Pune, and Ahmedabad. The price of 22-carat gold ranged from ₹14,505 to ₹14,615 for one gram and ₹116,040 to ₹116,920 for eight grams. The price of 24-carat gold ranged from ₹15,230 to ₹15,346 for one gram and ₹121,840 to ₹122,768 for eight grams.
