Gold Prices Plummet Amid US-Iran Tensions and Stronger Dollar Index
Gold and silver prices declined in India's retail market on July 31 amid ongoing tensions between the US and Iran.
The price of gold dropped due to a stronger dollar index, which made gold more expensive for buyers using overseas currencies.
The MCX gold rate was trading 0.05% lower at ₹144,010 per 10 grams, while the MCX silver futures were trading about 0.36% lower at ₹219,730 per kg.
