Gold Prices Plummet by ₹208 to ₹1,54,252 in Futures Trade
Gold prices in India took a hit on Tuesday, dropping by ₹208 to ₹1,54,252 per 10 grams in futures trade. The decline was attributed to weaker spot demand for the precious metal.
The Multi Commodity Exchange saw contracts for October delivery trading lower by ₹208, or 0.13 percent, at ₹1,54,252 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 2,452 lots.
Globally, gold futures declined by 0.12 percent to $4,432.26 per ounce in New York, indicating a trend that is being followed in the Indian market as well.
