Gold Prices Plummet by Rs600 Per Tola in Pakistan's Local Market
Gold prices in Pakistan's local market declined by Rs600 per tola on Wednesday, following a drop in international rates. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that 24-karat gold rates reached Rs486,536 per tola. This marks a significant decrease from previous days.
The price of 10-gram gold also dropped by Rs514 to Rs382,379. International markets saw gold rates fall by $6 to $4,640 per ounce. Local prices are adjusted with a premium of $20 against international rates.
Silver rates in the local market fell by 100 to Rs7,279 per tola. Similarly, 10-gram silver rates dropped by Rs86 to Rs6,240.
