Gold Prices Plummet for Second Consecutive Day in Pakistan
Gold prices in Pakistan fell for the second consecutive day, dropping by Rs500 per tola. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Association, the price of 24-karat gold decreased to Rs459,936 per tola. This decline is in line with international market trends, where gold prices have dropped $5 per ounce to $4,375.
The local market saw a decrease in gold prices despite an increase in silver prices. Silver prices rose by Rs13 per tola to Rs6,949. The association's data suggests that the decline in gold prices may be due to fluctuations in global demand and supply.
