Gold Prices Plummet in Baghdad and Erbil Amid Decrease in Demand
Gold prices dropped in Baghdad and Erbil on Tuesday, hovering around 850,000 IQD per mithqal.
In Baghdad's Al-Nahr Street, 21-carat gold was sold for 848,000 IQD (buying price: 844,000 IQD), while the same gold had sold for 858,000 IQD on Monday.
The selling and buying prices of 21-carat Iraqi gold were recorded at 818,000 IQD and 814,000 IQD respectively.
In jewelry stores, 21-carat Gulf gold ranged between 850,000 and 860,000 IQD per mithqal, while Iraqi gold sold for between 820,000 and 830,000 IQD.
