Gold Prices Plummet in India Amid Global Decline
New Delhi saw gold futures plummet to Rs 1,50,700 per 10 grams on Tuesday amid decreased spot demand. The Multi Commodity Exchange recorded a business turnover of 980 lots as yellow metal contracts for October delivery declined by Rs 530 or 0.35%.
The drop in precious metal prices was attributed to weaker spot demand, according to analysts. This decline mirrors the global trend where gold futures fell by 0.22% to USD 4,290.06 per ounce in New York.
