Gold Prices Plummet in Local Market Amid International Decline

The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that gold prices plummeted in the local market on Wednesday.

The price of 24-karat gold fell by Rs11,300 to Rs454,036 per tola, while 10 grams of 24-karat gold declined by Rs9,688 to Rs389,262.

In the international market, the price of gold dropped by $113 to $4,315 per ounce. The association also noted a decline in silver prices, with a tola of silver falling by Rs270 to Rs6,859 and 10 grams of silver declining by Rs231 to Rs5,880.
