Gold Prices Plummet in Pakistan Amid Global Market Slump
The prices of gold and silver declined in the local market on Saturday, according to rates issued by the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.
The price of 24-karat gold per tola fell by Rs 5,600 to settle at Rs 456,736, while 10 grams of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs 801 to Rs 391,577.
Similarly, 10 grams of 22-karat gold declined by Rs 4,401 to Rs 58,958. In the international market, the price of gold fell by $56 to $4,342 per ounce.
The price of silver per tola decreased by Rs 253 to Rs 6,871, while the price of 10 grams of silver fell by Rs 217 to Rs 5,890.
