Gold Prices Plummet in Pakistan Amid International Market Shift

The price of gold in Pakistan has seen a decline in recent days, according to data from the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association.

The association reported that the price of 24-karat gold decreased by Rs500 per tola to Rs459,936 on Saturday. This drop also affected other gold variants, with the price of 24-karat gold of 10 grams falling by Rs429 to Rs394,320 and 22-karat gold of 10 grams decreasing by Rs393 to Rs361,473.

On the international market, gold prices saw a similar decline, with gold quoted at $4,375 per ounce, down from its previous price of $5. However, silver prices rose during this time, with 24-karat silver increasing by Rs13 per tola to Rs6,949.
