Gold Prices Plummet in Pakistan as Global Market Follows
The prices of gold and silver in Pakistan took a downturn on Monday, August 31, 2026. According to the All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association, the price of 24-karat gold per tola dropped by Rs1,800, reaching Rs466,136.
Similarly, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold fell by Rs1,543, while 22-karat gold saw a drop of Rs1,414. The new prices are Rs399,636 and Rs366,346 respectively.
In contrast, silver prices increased, with a hike of Rs67 for 24-karat silver to be sold at Rs7,179 and an increase of Rs57 for 10 grams of silver to Rs6,154.
