Gold Prices Plummet in Pakistan's Local Market
Gold prices in Pakistan's local market declined by Rs3,700 per tola on Saturday, mirroring a decrease in international prices. The price of gold fell by $37 per ounce globally to $4,043 per ounce.
In the local market, according to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-carat gold dropped by Rs3,700 per tola to Rs426,736. The price of 10 grams of gold also decreased by Rs3,202 to Rs365,857.
Silver prices also recorded a decline, with the price per tola falling by Rs57 to Rs6,237 and the price of 10 grams dropping by Rs49 to Rs5,347.
