Gold Prices Plummet in Vietnam as Global Market Sees Sideways Trend
The gold price has seen significant losses in recent trading sessions. In Vietnam, the Saigon SJC Jewelry Company listed its SJC gold bar prices at 137-141 million VND/tael (buying - selling), with a buying-selling difference of 4 million VND/tael.
This price decrease is a contrast to last week's closing session on July 26, where the same company saw a loss of 500,000 VND/tael in both buying and selling directions.
The DOJI Group also reported similar losses, with its SJC gold bar prices decreasing by 500,000 VND/tael compared to last week. This translates to buyers at Saigon SJC and DOJI Jewelry Company losing 4.5 million VND/tael if they bought gold bars on July 26 and sold them in today's session.
The same trend is observed for gold ring prices, with DOJI Group listing its price at 137-141 million VND/tael (buying - selling), down 1.5 million VND/tael compared to last week. Phu Quy Jewelry Group also reported a decrease in gold ring prices by 500,000 VND/tael.
