Gold Prices Plummet on MCX Amid Weaker Spot Demand
On July 28, 2026, gold futures declined on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), trading lower by ₹1,213 or 0.85% at ₹1,41,850 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 759 lots.
The decline in gold prices was attributed to weaker spot demand, according to analysts.
Globally, gold futures also declined by 0.85% to $4,041.42 per ounce in New York, mirroring the drop on MCX.
