Gold Prices Reach More Than Three-Month High Amid US Dollar Weakness
The global gold price has reached a more than three-month high on August 22nd, with domestic prices in Vietnam rising accordingly.
According to data updated on the morning of August 22nd, the world gold price is around $4,604 per ounce, an increase of $80, or about 1.77%, compared to $4,524 per ounce on August 21st.
The US dollar's fall to a near three-month low has contributed significantly to this rise in gold prices. The US Treasury Department's long-term bond-buying program has also been driving investors to seek refuge in gold and other scarce assets.
