Gold prices rebounded in India on Monday, rising by Rs 2,440 to Rs 1.49 lakh per 10 grams. The price increase follows a two-session decline due to easing inflation concerns as crude oil prices retreated. Silver prices also rose, climbing Rs 5,300 to Rs 2.3 lakh per kg.

The All India Sarafa Association reported the gold price at Rs 1,49,640 per 10 grams for 99.9% purity, up from the previous session's price of Rs 1,47,200 per 10 grams. Silver prices rose to Rs 2,30,000 per kg, up from Friday's closing level of Rs 2,24,700 per kg.

Analysts attributed the price increase to easing inflation concerns and a weak US dollar. However, they noted that gains in the domestic market remained limited due to the Indian rupee strengthening against the US dollar.
