Gold prices in India have begun to recover, rising marginally on Friday morning after two straight sessions of declines. The national rate for gold now stands at ₹1,44,340 for 24-karat gold, ₹1,32,310 for 22-karat gold, and ₹1,08,260 for 18-karat gold per 10 grams.

This modest rise is a result of fresh safe-haven buying persisting in the market. The uptick follows Thursday's sharp rebound, when 24-karat gold had jumped ₹820, 22-karat gold ₹750, and 18-karat gold ₹620 per 10 grams over Wednesday's levels.

A softer dollar index following the US Federal Reserve's rate decision earlier in the week has continued to support bullion. Global spot gold prices are also holding firm through Asian trade on Friday, broadly tracking the domestic market.
