Gold Prices Rebound Slightly as Investors Balance Geopolitical Tensions and Tighter US Policy
Gold prices rebounded slightly on September 1 after falling more than 3.5 percent over the previous two sessions.
According to a report, geopolitical tensions in the Middle East are balanced against expectations of tighter US monetary policy.
Market participants are focusing on ADP Non-Farm Employment Change on Wednesday, followed by Non-Farm Payrolls and Unemployment data on Friday, as markets adjust expectations around a possible Fed rate hike in September.
The COMEX gold futures traded 0.19 percent higher to $4,490.10 per ounce, while the MCX spot gold closed the previous session at Rs 1,55,114 per 10 grams.
