Gold Prices Remain Steady Amid Weaker Dollar and Bond Yield Efforts
Gold prices remained stable on Friday, but are still set for their third consecutive weekly gain.
This stability is largely attributed to a weaker dollar and efforts by the U.S. Treasury to curb rising long-term bond yields.
At 00:31 GMT, spot gold was little changed at $4,514.23 per ounce, after hitting its highest level since early June in the previous session.
The metal has gained 3.2 percent since the start of the week, according to Reuters.
