Gold Prices Retract from Two-Month High Amid Precious Metals Fluctuations

Gold prices have retreated slightly but remain near their two-month high after earlier reaching $4,434.84 per ounce on August 12.

This is according to data from various sources, with spot gold falling by 0.3% to $4,376.31 per ounce in the same period.

US gold futures, however, rose by 0.5% to $4,441.10 during the session.

Other precious metals have also experienced fluctuations, with silver falling by 1.4% to $64.80 per ounce, platinum declining by 0.7% to $1,740.37, and palladium dropping by 1.3% to $1,365.60.
