Gold Prices Rise ₹1,501 on Indian Futures Markets Amid Firm Demand
Gold prices on Indian futures markets saw an increase of ₹1,501 to ₹1.54 lakh per 10 grams in futures trade as speculators created fresh positions due to a firm spot demand.
The Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) reported the yellow metal contracts for October delivery trading higher by ₹1,501, or 0.98%, at ₹1,54,600 per 10 grams in a business turnover of 1,332 lots on August 11, 2026.
Analysts stated that fresh positions built up by participants led to the rise in precious metal prices. Globally, gold futures increased 0.35% to $4,406.15 per ounce in New York.
