Gold Prices Rise Amid Ongoing US-Iran Developments
Gold prices rose on August 26 due to ongoing US-Iran developments that continue to support safe-haven demand. The COMEX gold futures increased by 0.46% to $4,716.30 per ounce during morning trade.
The domestic MCX futures for October contract closed the previous session with a 0.09% increase to Rs 1,63,029 per 10 grams, while silver for September contract surged 0.08% to Rs 2,44,328 per kilogram.
LBMA spot gold price stood at $4,615.45 per ounce in the PM fixing on August 25, and domestic spot gold on MCX surged towards Rs 1,61,657 per 10 grams.
