Gold Prices Rise for Fourth Consecutive Day in Pakistan, International Markets
The price of gold in Pakistan rose for the fourth consecutive day on August 8, 2026. The All Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association reported that 24-karat gold per tola increased by Rs2,200, reaching a new rate of Rs456,536.
This hike was also observed in international markets, where gold prices rose by $22 to reach $4,341 per ounce. However, silver prices in Pakistan showed a decline, with 24-karat silver decreasing by Rs113 to Rs6,829 and 10 grams of silver dropping by Rs97 to Rs5,852.
