Gold Prices Rise for Fourth Day, Hit Rs 1.54 Lakh/10g in Delhi
Gold prices rose by Rs 200 to Rs 1.54 lakh per 10 grams in Delhi on Friday, marking its fourth consecutive day of gains.
The precious metal of 99.9% purity increased from Thursday's closing level of Rs 1,53,800 per 10 grams, according to local traders.
Gaurav Garg, Head of Research at Lemonn Markets Desk, attributed the rally to a weak US dollar and softer crude oil prices, which lifted bullion demand.
Silver remained unchanged at Rs 2,34,800 per kilogram after witnessing a sharp rise in the previous session, said Garg.
