Gold Prices Rise Fourth Straight Day to ₹1.54 Lakh Per 10 Grams
Gold prices in India's national capital rose for the fourth consecutive session to ₹1.54 lakh per 10 grams, while silver remained flat at ₹2.34 lakhs per kilogram on August 7, 2026.
The increase in gold prices was driven by a weaker US dollar and softer crude oil prices, which lifted demand for bullion ahead of the US non-farm payrolls report, said Gaurav Garg, Head of Research at Lemonn Markets Desk.
The precious metal extended its gains, heading for its strongest weekly performance since January. Silver also advanced on improving sentiment among investors, according to Kaynat Chainwala, AVP Commodity Research at Kotak Securities.
Spot gold rose USD 84.74, or 2 per cent, to USD 4,325.43 per ounce in the international markets, while silver gained strength by advancing more than 4 per cent to USD 64.17 per ounce.
