Gold Prices Rise in Baghdad, Remain Stable in Erbil
Gold prices in Baghdad rose on Saturday, while remaining stable in Erbil. According to a market survey by Shafaq News, gold prices in Baghdad's Al-Nahr Street hovered around 950,000 IQD per mithqal for 21-carat gold. The selling price was 950,000 IQD, with a buying price of 946,000 IQD. This price is consistent with the previous Thursday's price.
The prices varied depending on the type of gold: 21-carat Iraqi gold sold for 920,000 IQD, while Gulf and Turkish varieties ranged from 950,000 to 960,000 IQD per mithqal in jewelry stores. In Erbil, 22-carat gold was sold at 982,000 IQD per mithqal, 21-carat gold at 937,000 IQD, and 18-carat gold at 804,000 IQD.
