Gold Prices See Minor Uptick, Silver Holds Steady in Domestic Markets
Gold prices saw a slight increase in early trade on Wednesday in domestic bullion markets. The price of gold rose by Rs 200 to Rs 230 per 10 grams across most markets. As a result, 24-carat gold was trading between Rs 1,55,900 and Rs 1,56,050 per 10 grams, while 22-carat gold was quoted in the range of Rs 1,42,910 to Rs 1,43,060 per 10 grams.
However, silver prices remained unchanged for the second consecutive day. The precious metal continued to trade at Rs 2,49,900 per kilogram in the Delhi bullion market. In major cities like Mumbai, Ahmedabad, Chennai, and Kolkata, gold prices were also steady, with minor fluctuations in certain regions.
Bullion markets in Karnataka, Telangana, and Odisha witnessed a firm trend in gold prices during early trade. The price of 24-carat gold was trading at Rs 1,55,900 per 10 grams in these states' capitals, while 22-carat gold was quoted at Rs 1,42,910 per 10 grams.
These trends indicate that the domestic bullion market is experiencing a stable pricing environment. However, it's essential to monitor further developments and fluctuations in global markets to understand any potential impact on local prices.
